organisation producing high quality, original
research on the South African business and economic
environment. The research is focussed on South
African industry research, ownership and group
structures, takover and merger activity and
investment into the rest Africa.

History
Who Owns Whom was started 29 years ago by
the late Robin McGregor, with the publication of the
1st edition of the business directory of
the same name. In 1986, the company launched the
McGregor Information Services Online information
vendor (now called McGregorBFA and owned by Media24)
which was sold to Naspers twelve years later in
1998.
Directors and Management
Maureen Mphatsoe of the Shanduka Group is
Chairperson of Who Owns Whom and Ivor Jones, founder
of KreditInform (Pty) Ltd, is a non executive
director. Andrew McGregor is Managing Director and
Carla Mould is Executive Manager of Operations.

50% of Who Owns Whom is owned by
