Copper 360 Ltd produces copper with a focus on processing historically mined copper rock dumps through a process of environmental clean-up, and mining of surface and shallow copper resources. The group, comprises the company and its subsidiaries, and produces copper from copper oxide ore resources and is developing several projects to produce copper from copper sulphide ore. \r\n\r\nCopper is produced through its subsidiaries:\r\n• Cape Copper Oxide - An Environmental cleanup business. Produces copper by processing old historically mined rock dumps through a copper processing plant. No mining takes place in this process, only the moving and processing of rock and deposition of a neutralised slurry. The copper processing plant is located next to the town of Nababeep in the Northern Cape province and employs 180 people. \r\n• The Okiep Copper Company - Copper Mining company, incorporated in 1937 by the Newmont Mining Company.\r\n• Shirley Hayes IPK (Pty) Ltd (SHIP) - A mining and exploration company active in the Northern Cape province is the holder of a mining right covering approximately 19,000 hectares to the north of the town of Springbok on which 12 historically mined copper mines and 60 copper prospects are located. The area consolidated by SHIP was granted a mining license, executed 8 December 2022, and lies approximately 10km north of the regional town of Springbok and 15km east of the town of Nababeep in an area of 192.6m hectares.
