MTN Group Ltd is a multinational investment holding company, operating through its subsidiaries, as a provider of mobile telecommunication and related services, including an inbound and outbound call centre and back office services. MTN, in partnership with Ubank, also operates in the mobile money space. As at 31 December 2021, the group had 272 million subscribers, 122 million active data users and 57 million active MoMo (Mobile Money users) users in 19 markets across South Africa, Nigeria and the SEA, WECA and MENA regions and respective operations. Supersonic Fttx (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary company, installs infrastructure cables on domestic and commercial properties on behalf of contractors and construction companies.
