Northam Platinum Holdings Ltd is a holding company that operates through its main subsidiary, Northam Platinum Ltd, with interests in platinum, palladium, rhodium and base metals such as copper and nickel. \r\n\r\nThe company has four operating mines that produces chrome concentrate as a by-product: \r\n• Zondereinde mine - located close to Thabazimbi in the Limpopo province of South Africa currently produces an estimated 330,000 4E ounces per annum with a LoM of 30 years\r\n• Booysendal North mine - located near the town of Mashishing (formerly Lydenburg) on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex, is a shallow, mechanised, room and pillar UG2 mine, produced 5.72 Moz 4E with a LoM of some 25 years\r\n• Booysendal South mine - includes three UG2 modules (BS1, BS2 and BS4), together with a single Merensky module (BSM), which collectively unlock Mineral Reserves of an estimated 7 Moz 4E with a LoM of 25 years\r\n• Eland mine - located in the southeastern portion of the western limb of the Bushveld Complex, approximately 70 km north of Johannesburg and 12 km east of Brits, in the North-West Province produced 14.65 Moz 4E and has an LoM of 30 years
