The SPAR Group Ltd wholesales and distributes foodstuffs, hair and skin care products, sanitisers and toiletries, reading materials and stationery, and operates various retail brands including SPAR retail grocery stores, Build it building materials outlets, TOPS at SPAR liquor stores and Pharmacy at SPAR healthcare and pharmacy outlets.\r\n\r\nIn South Africa, SPAR operates:\r\n• 6 SPAR and TOPS Major regional distribution centres\r\n• 1 Build it building materials imports distribution centre \r\n• 1 S Buys pharmaceutical distribution centre\r\n• 3 Satellite warehousing hubs\r\n• 1 Encore private Label distributions centre\r\nThese centres supply 2,550 independently owned SPAR stores on the African continent.
