DRDGold Ltd is a mid-tier, unhedged gold producer and is involved in the recovery of gold through the retreatment of surface tailings. Its strategy is to deploy its resources to extract as much gold as possible from its 10.12 million ounces surface resource. DRDGold conducts business through the subsidiary structure of Ergo Mining Operations (Pty) Ltd and Far West Gold Recoveries Proprietary Ltd (FWGR). Operations in South Africa include: • ERPM Ext 1 & 2 • Crown • Ergo • Brakpan tailings facility • Knights • Far West Gold Recoveries (FWGR - Previously West Rand Tailings Retreatment Project) • Daggafontein (additional tailings deposition facility) • Rooikraal (Additional drilling performed on the Deposition Facility)
