This report focuses on diamond mining which has provided wealth to investors for over 150 years. According to Kitco Metals Inc. the estimated production of rough diamonds in 2013 was 130 million carats. This was up only 1% from the 2012 production which the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) estimated to be 128 million carats.
